Why is the malahat legion huge supporter for Wounded Warriors Run? Picture shows a $2,000 cheque the warrior runners received when they arrived at the Malahat Legion Saturday March 5th, 2022 after the Legion Meat Draw.  Two other members donated $1,000 each. One to support Lori Timpson on the last 5 kilometers before they arrive; the other to support Mike Bowen on the 5 km back to Victoria.  Many others gave $200, $500 and other amounts.

  Before they retired for the evening, the total amount they took away away $8,434.35.
