we give back

With our Poppy Fund, we annually donate to support Veterans, RCMP and those who’ve suffered illness or injury arising from Military service.  In 2019, $20,000 was raised through Saturday meat and 50:50 draws and donated back to the  community to BCGaming-approved charities.

what we do

Branch #134 (Malahat) houses not only the Legion itself but also the Malahat Lions Club and the Young Seniors Action Group Society (YSAGS). We support the Cowichan Food Bank Society by donations to the Christmas Food Hamper and Toys. Toiletries and Touques Initiative.  We also co-host the Father’s Day Fishing Derby.
