Help Search for a Kidney Donor for Bruce Sand
My Name is Bruce Sand, and I am a 28-year Canadian military veteran with three military Operational tours of duty. I have been diagnosed with end-stage renal disease, and I am desperately in need a life-saving kidney donation.
During my service with the Canadian Army, I was diagnosed with incurable kidney disease after 7 months of duty in Haiti in 2007. I am now very close to the point of either dialysis or a transplant.
I have already been offered a kidney by two donors, but sadly neither was able to medically qualify as a donor.
I am now working with a remarkable non-profit organization, Renewal Canada, to help find a matching donor for me. So, I am sending everybody this message
in the hope that you or someone you know is able and willing to consider doing the incredible kindness of saving my life by donating a kidney to me.
To learn more about kidney donation yourself and my journey, please check out www.RenewalCanada.org/ and also BC Transplant . All inquiries to Renewal and BC transplant are strictly confidential and they work hard to ensure that making this incredible donation comes at zero financial cost to the donor.
They can also put you in touch with others who have donated a kidney and are willing to share their experience.
Please share this message to as many people as you can. You never know if there is someone out there who will respond to this urgent need.
If you wish to talk to me directly please text me anytime at 250 686 2524 and we can discuss transplants and donation further.
Thank you,
Bruce Sand
