Remembrance Day 2020.
Covid-19 concerns limited participation at Remembrance Day 2020 at the Cobble Hill Cenotaph. However the event was streamed live on Our Facebook Page. The adjacent video is an abridged clip of the video.
- Dwight Grieve, Sergeant-at -arms at the Malahat Legion headed the colour party.
- This year the colour party was limited to one – Ex Chief Hull Tech veteran Stan Grenda.
- Standing vigil at the cenotaph are RCMP officer, cst Marc LeBlanc and veterans Harold Davis and Ben Webber.
- Chaplin John Steele lead us in a prayer.
- Service Officers, Denise Holloway and Paul Richard arranged for the wreaths to be laid in advance.
- Isabelle Hammer, Malahat Legion president, read the Remembrance Day prayer, They Shall Not Grow Old
- There was a missing man flyover at 11:08 which unfortunately the camera missed.
