Chilli Cook-off With A Twist

We gratefully acknowledge NTL Excavating support for our previous chilli cook‑off, including the outstanding trophy proudly engraved with each winner’s bragging rights. This year, we’re doing something a little different – an NTL Chilli Cook-off with a twist.

The Challenge

Our Bar Manager, Bob Cleroux, is challenging all bar staff and our kitchen lead to try to beat him in a chilli cook‑off challenge, with our Saturday meat draw patrons deciding the winner. Bob anticipates up to six competitors and has set some fun rules to encourage creative twists and discouraging unfair flavour enhancers in each chili. 

A $10 ticket gives you a tasting and a ballot to vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Country Grocer gift cards will be awarded to the winners along with bragging rights.

A Fund Raiser for Blind Children Event.

This event is a fundraiser in support of the Military Police Ride, which raises money for programs helping blind children. Please join us, enjoy some great chili, and help support this important cause.

We just heard the Military Police Ride will be here visiting us from 1 PM to 4 PM and to thank the winner.
