Malahat Legion Centenary Celebration

On Friday, July 17, 2026, the Royal Canadian Legion marks its 100th Anniversary. To celebrate this historic milestone, the Malahat Legion is hosting a special Centenary Celebration, and we invite members, guests, and friends to join us.

CeleBration Schedule

3:00 PM – OFFICIAL CENTENary Celebration

We will welcome local dignitaries, community representatives, our Member of Parliament, and other special guests. During the ceremony, Centennial Medals will be presented to Legion members selected by the Malahat Legion Executive in recognition of their outstanding dedication and service over the years.

4:30 PM – COMPLIMENTARY BBQ

Following the ceremony, everyone is invited to enjoy a free burger and cake as we continue the celebration together.

7:00 PM – MUSIC AND DANCING

DJ Brad Pollard will keep the evening going with a mix of familiar favourites. Bring your dancing shoes and feel free to request your favourite songs. Music venue is free for all - No need to register.

Reservations

We expect this to be a popular event and encourage everyone to reserve their spot in advance through our online registration system.
Members are welcome to bring one guest. Guests do not need to be Legion members to attend.
