Member Awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal
|
|
|
We are pleased that Virginia Bauder (center) is to be awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal from Member of Parliament, Alistair MacGregor on Saturday, January 18th, 2025.
|
|
|
|
“Virginia serves as the Treasurer of the Malahat Legion and works tirelessly to keep the Malahat legion’s services at the highest quality. Further, in 1999 Virginia was awarded the Order of Military Merit by the Governor General of Canada. She also runs the Malahat legion’s Facebook page ensuring that community members remain aware of the Legion’s work in their service.”

We have a terrific dinner planned featuring tender cabbage rolls, served alongside a medley of sweet and sour red cabbage, savory harvest sausages, and pan-seared perogies.

Unfortunately, due to the mail strike, many of these were not returned. As an alternative, here are other ways to donate:

- Etransfer to rcl134poppy@gmail.com. No is password required.
|
All donations stay local to help to help our Veterans and Veterans families in need and can be made all year round.
